Mistletoe
Sometimes we try to get really clever with our themes. This is one of those days. We think that it landed but we’ll let you decide if we tried to stretch a theme too far :)
Everyone knows about the iconic symbol of Christmas that is mistletoe. We did as well and knew about the tradition of kissing under the misltetoe. What we didn’t know was the history of it. So we started with learning more about that element.
And once finished with the history, we tried to feature mistletoe in as many ways as possible. We made a Mistletoe cocktail with cranberries and mint leaves as garnish. We obviously had to listen to Justin Bieber’s song “Mistletoe”. We hung and tested out the mistletoe in our kitchen. And then this is where we got really creative. Because what somehow merges Christmas, missiles, and toes like putting on some fuzzy Christmas socks and watching “Die Hard"? We thought it was pretty clever if we do say so ourselves and wound up thoroughly enjoying the entire evening.
