A Partridge in a Pear Tree

Today kicked off the very first themed day of 2020’s Dates of Christmas. It was a fun play on pears given that partridges were a little harder to work with. Ben cooked up puff pastry bites with pear preserves and cheese as well as a pear, bacon, and caramelized onion flatbread. Not to mention, a ginger pear bourbon cocktail! 

And we incorporated the 12 Days of Christmas theme by reading a fascinating article on what it would cost to actually send the official “12 Days of Christmas” gifts nowadays. And how could we not also  include “The Office’s” episode of “Secret Santa” in which Andy sends Erin the gifts from the 12 Days of Christmas?
