Yule Logs
After a hectic week, this evening was a much needed break to relax and unwind. After mixing up “Fireside” cocktails, we settled in for Christmas word searches and crosswords by the fireplace with some Christmas vinyls on the phonograph and Nick Offerman yule log video on the TV.
Food was all yule logs-themed as well with a tenderloin roulade for dinner and Buche de Noel for dessert. Plus, a little fun thrown in with some Little Debbies Swiss Rolls stacking competitions. While “simple”, it really was a fun and enjoyable evening that is one of the most approachable and easy to replicated dates that we did this season. We ‘d highly recommend!
