Thanksgiving in a Pandemic

Everything is different in 2020 without visiting family and being able to celebrate “normal” holiday traditions. It’s just the two of us, but we tried to make it work!

It was a stellar menu of the classics but with a unique twist to make them more approachable for just a couple. The two potato gratin and the herby bread and butter stuffing were truly remarkable and might make our normal dinner rotation.

And there was a whole bunch of fun Thanksgiving themed activities to round it out as well! Our personal favorite might have been the “turkey rockets'“ and trying to make “turkeys” made out of balloons “fly” across our kitchen. It truly was a riot!
