All season long, we have fun with so many of the trivial elements of Christmas like the stockings and the cookies and the snow and the presents and the weird traditions around the world. But it’s important and nice to take a full day and focus on what the real meaning is of Christmas and that is the birth of Jesus Christ.

So today, we celebrate as the Sommerfeld family alongside the rest of our church family His joyous birth. We got dressed up (which really just means anything other than sleepers and sweats) and went to church to to sing worship and praises and to hear the Good News read for all to hear… that a Savior has been born.
