Christmas is the Bomb Dot Com
Today was a fun chance to take what is often a not very cheery topic (BOMBS) and to show how truly fun and festive they can be!
We started by attempting to improve Miles and Edison’s first photo with Santa, which truly was a bit of a BOMB, and upgrading it by having Santa and his reindeer friend digitally added to PHOTO BOMB another one of our family photos.
After bedtime, we poured ourselves a glass of Prairie Artisan Ale’s CHRISTMAS BOMB! beer then sat down to play a game to see which of us could list the most holiday words to begin with the letter “F” (F-BOMB) while a YouTube Christmas timer sizzled down a five-minute fuse countdown (TIME BOMB).
Ben whipped up a Christmas version of the classic French BOMBE dessert while Bekah made some homemade HOT COCOA BOMBS. And we also picked up some of the ever popular stocking stuffer BATH BOMBS as well.
But you really can’t talk about the combination of holidays and explosives without including John McClane. So we followed up last year’s viewing of “Die Hard” with “Die Hard 2: Die Harder”. And in honor of the movie, we included food elements of holiday Twinkies for Officer Powell and also a dinner of Yippee Cayenne Smothered Clucker.
