When we began our “Christmas Journey Around the Continents” last year, we had a ton of fun. And we learned as went with each continent getting better and better. But that means that we look back at the very first continent that we feature in Asia and felt that we could have done better. So, this year we’re giving in a second chance!

We ate a spectrum of classic foods celebrated at Christmastime from across the continent. The most exciting was KFC, which has become a iconic Japanese tradition where people will place their orders weeks in advance to ensure their family can have fried chicken for Christmas. The history on that is a remarkable case study in  marketing that you should definitely read up on. And we learned so much more about how a lot of the countries choose to celebrate Christmas… or perhaps not in some of the countries where it’s not even a public holiday.
